OCZ announces 3.5-inch SSDs with up to 1 TB of storage
The flash drives of the Colossus series utilizes multi-level memory cells hp pavilion dv6000 battery, 128 MB cache and two Indilinx controller. They create read and write rates of up to 260 MByte / s. The top model will cost around 3200 €.
OCZ Technologies has expanded its portfolio to include an SSD 3.5-inch model with a capacity of 120 GB to 1 TB. The SATA-II drives the Colossus-Series work with MLC memory cells, 128 MB cache and two controllers Indilinx ThinkPad X200 battery.
The SSDs provide Manufacturer’s read and write speeds of up to 260 MByte / s. The sustained write rate should not exceed 220 MB / sec. Access time is less than 0.1 milliseconds. RAID support is also on board.
The mean time between samsung sb-l480 battery failures (Mean Time Between Failures, MTBF) is OCZ with 1.5 million hours (171 years). The Stoßresistenz maximum of 1500 G.
Pricing and availability of the Colossus Series OCZ has not made any claims. Some online retailers list the new releases but already: the entry-level model with 120 GB of memory costs about 500 € on the Internet, the 1-TB-3200 € variant proud hp pavilion dv9000 battery. The warranty is three years.
